Sad Stuff.
The Boston Globe on February 8, 2009 reported that a Tremco Technical Rep, James Williamson, was killed in an accident on Saturday, February 7, 2009 while inspecting a Suffolk University Dormitory Roof.
He and a Reliable Roofing and Sheet Metal worker, who survived, were in the bucket of a 110 foot aerial crane when the arm fell against a building on its' way down. The Reliable Roofing and Sheet Metal worker, Greg Johnson, somehow landed on a second story roof and is improving at the hospital.
Apparently, Tremco was hired to inspect the roofs for Suffolk University, and they had apparently subcontracted the inspections out to Reliable, according to reports.
Investigations are taking place.
